“…this girl has been brain damaged.”
Not according to my 1992 MRI brain scans.
I think some answers are in the article in Discover Magazine April Issue, on The Brain and Mental Time Travel. Although their kind of time travel has nothing to do with the kind of time travel I have been talking about, psychically or telepathically or in the realm of the spirit.
Like I mentioned before, separating the hemispheres of the mind causes problems. And how is one, say, who is the mind reader, able to prevent interjecting his or her own creativity into the thoughts of another? By that I mean the toggle switch might have been nothing more than a pacifier but the hacker turned it into a toggle switch and mixed it up with all of my actions and left in my mind a distortion of my reality.
If I had no memories of my own about toggle switches I might have concluded it was a pacifier. If I had no memories of a pacifier I probably would have leaned toward it being a toggle switch. If I had not recalled the dream at all, I might have hunted for days trying to find something that looked like a toggle switch, satisfying the mind’s attempts at placing that image onto something real.
