I am also taking Chlorpheniramine Maleate. It increases cardiac contractions by preventing the reuptake of norepinephrine, as well as serotonin. This counteracts the AV node block by adenosine.
When I tried taking the Abilify, my heart rate accelerated I thnk due to the noise pollution at Fountain Correctional Institute in Rocky Mount, NC, as I was not on the appropriate medication to prevent brainwave entrainment. Thanks to my brothers and sisters in music, that has been reduced to a more normal level.
