Increasing fat can also cause a problem unless you increase protein intake which then causes the body to store the fat rather than use it for energy. Keeping the BCAAS low so that too much fat is prevented from being stored in the muscle is the key to the ketogenic diet I think.
I ate a high fat diet when I was growing up unfortunately I did not consume an equally high amount of fat. I did quickly lose the fat while consuming a diet of soup and pasta but also lost significant amounts of muscle that was broken down and used to build new proteins.
The proteins our body makes are measured in daltons. A dalton is so small it is measured at 1.660538782(83)×10−27 kg. They are some of the tiniest measurements found, meaning the proteins our bodies produce are miniscule in size compared to a lentil. Our bodies make 100,000 plus proteins so replacing proteins are vital to good health.
