Avanyu ~ Avenue ~ Snake River…
Avanyu (ah-VAH-nyoo) As Palulukon, the Plumed Water Snake, is known along the Rio Grande. The mammae, or breasts, of Avanyu/Palulukon are believed to be the source of the blood of all animals and of all the waters of the land.
