Aside from that I now know that it is even better to keep an open mind rather than cement one’s beliefs…updated

in one thing or another, as in believing in God or believing that I create my own destiny.   Why?  Because everything will be filtered according to your beliefs and anything that does not fit into your belief system will be ignored, split off and projected onto someone else.
