Her second point, about money in politics, helped to explain the first. The permanent class stays in power because it positions itself between two deep troughs: the money spent by the government and the money spent by big companies to secure decisions from government that help them make more money.

…the lower portion of the Monarchy.   Yes we are still influenced by that British Monarchy, so much for the Boston Tea Party, but Palin’s Tea Party might move some people to speak up with a vote.  And to show you how confused they have made everyone, I forgot that it was a Republican who freed the slaves.
