Something I wrote about recidivism…

And unfortunately having a high record of convictions does not speak for the qualifications of a fitting Judge or that justice was served and it is part of the reason the courts are overcrowded with frivolous cases, at least on the State and County levels. More cases, more convictions less quality of service. Take for example a quality automobile. Those companies who focus on mastering and producing a quality automobile certainly produce fewer than those whose productions are high and the car stays in the shop 75% of the time (recidivism) and the other 25% of the time it is out polluting the environment..
J.A.I.L sounds like a good idea, but then 75% of the audience in a court room are just that, an audience and the whole thing becomes a performance and that was never more apparent to me than in 1991.
