Claudia Draper the prostitute and Claudia Draper the Psychiatrist. Does this infer that a woman who has been raped cannot be a psychiatrist? It infers that a woman who continues to act out her own molestation trauma cannot be a psychiatrist. If she knew anything about psychoanalysis or psychiatry at all, she probably would not be acting out.
When did Draper make a willful choice to be a prostitute rather than do something else? She clearly stated she was doing what she had been “taught” to do. What if she had had treatment? It is clear to me Hollywood has no belief in healing or change, nor do many parents. Continuing to act out is a way of life in Hollywood that is what they do, in the real world it can get you locked up, as is portrayed frequently in films by Hollywood where prostitutes get locked up as was Draper in the beginning.
