Gibbon, Ghibelline, Ghiberti, Gibbons, Gibbs, Gibb…

One of gibbon calls was to alert others in the group to danger.   The horn was created by the enemy to deceive the Gibeonites.   Once they presented a false alert and nothing happened they were thrown off and would retreat puzzled about what happened.   Then the enemy would move in.

It’s been played out here in this country.  Gabriel’s horn.

Gabriel may have been a Gibeonite.  He was lifted by the Israelites, then they created the false horn (falsetto) to trick the Gibbeonites, thus Gabriel’s Horn.
