…this reminds me of when I got out of prison and after buying a car took off for Asheville, NC, October 1991…it looks like Hickory, NC too, I got part of the way and stopped at a lodge. Was going to spend the night because I discovered the brakes were bad on my car but changed my mind and made it back to hickory where I spent the night.
