Motion perception as studied by Helmholtz…

Motion perception - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I noticed when viewing locations on the google map that the advancement feature was mimicking someone on a train or fast car or bus.   This is different from what I’ve experienced in a plane which moves much faster than any of the previous mentioned vehicles.   I surmised I had been on a train somewhere at some point before getting on the L-Train in Chicago in 1983.   Over the past week I recollected my visiting Massachusetts and discovered I probably still have connections there and found a commuter train station where I most likely have been at some time in the past.   Source Code, film.

Is it possible that Helmholtz had experienced this phenomena in his own mind?   I have also purchased dvds which contain scenes that are in fast motion as if one were riding on a helicopter.

“We’re going to nuke them Ms. Gibbs as soon as you get out of the country”

I heard this this AM and have heard it before.   I’m sure it’s some German connection pre-holocaust.  I had suspected my family was mixed up with them since 1650 or so during their first voyages to the Americas.

“They keep us upright” – don’t know if this is related.
