protein, fat or carbohydrate—raises blood levels of triglycerides, and thus increases the risk of heart disease.
Observations: Mummy Says John Horgan Is Wrong about Fat and Carbs in Food
I have been reading scientific articles about Leucine for the past four years and everyone of them states that Leucine is the source for sterols and cholesterol is one of the sterols. Other non-scientific sites state that Leucine causes hypoglycemia, reduces blood sugar and is converted to glucose. Leucine will never be converted to glucose, it gets converted to fat. It is ketogenic, although all of the essential amino acids are hydrophobic meaning they absorb fat and repel water, most of them get converted to glucose.
I just read in a physiology text book that dietary fat is what causes body fat, depending on how much you eat. What happens when you consume fat leptin reduces your hunger. This could cause you to ATP and cause muscle damage from not having enough glucose and not enough glucose can cause brain damage, although the brain can function on ketones.
I did the fat thing too but then I started storing the fat because I think I was in a state of starvation because I wasn’t hungry and not eating enough calories for my body to run efficiently. As I mentioned I ate a lot of fat growing up but lost muscle mass and loss of muscle can be bad for the heart.
