I am guessing this is the connection I had in 1995 while driving home from Washington, NC. It was late and I saw a field full of deer off to my left. There was a low lying fog and it was just a beautiful site to see, only wish I had had a camera at the time.
I certainly haven’t been there, I didn’t plant the tree there and I, while quite suspicious of its authenticity, have trusted that these maps are authentic and as accurate as possible.

I noticed in the photo that most of the trees look like young saplings but I don’t know if they were planted there after some fire. There seems to be no evidence of a fire but there could be decades of new growth that has covered the usual signs of it. How old would the highway be?
